Audio Book – Die Flugblätter der Weißen Rose

 weisserose (first published 1942/43)

Language: German / German

The six leaflets of the White Rose are probably the most compelling documents of the resistance to Nazi rule in Germany. Written and distributed in 1942 and 1943 by a group of members of the University of Munich, they address the crimes of the regime and call for resistance.

The six members of the White Rose – the students Hans and Sophie Scholl, Christoph Probst, Willi Graf, Alexander Schmorell and the university professor Kurt Huber – were executed in 1943. (Summary of Availle)
